Authentic Vermont slate, every switchplate and outlet cover has its own personality with natural variations embedded in the stone. The artists creates these switchplates from old roofing tiles that would have otherwise ended up in the landfill. Though a green method, the artist chooses tiles with a tan hue. The range of shades will vary due to the source of the slate. This variety, complemented by the switchplates trimmed edges, will bring rustic charm to your home or cabin.
