I have ordered a mix of the light and dark mottled brass plates as I’m putting them throughout my house. Every one has come in perfect condition and packaged up with such care. The customer service has been amazing. Great plates and so beautiful!
feels tough and pro. Just wish I got a lighter color
After some recent remodeling, I wanted to buy plates for my dining room to match the ones I bought from Switch Hits for my living room and entryway a decade or so ago. I was delighted to see that they still appeared to be selling the same plates. My older plates are in fact mottled, exactly like the photo shown. However, the ones from my recent order are very similar in color but not mottled at all, merely an evenly brushed finish. I am keeping them because I probably won't find any elsewhere that are a better match, and the quality is still excellent, but I am disappointed that the finish has changed. They should update the photos.

I wanted something "antique-y" for my 1920 bungalow and these products fit the bill nicely. They are a step above something you'd get at [...], but a step below something from a high-end antiques restoration catalog. So it's a good compromise on looks and price.
