I thought this plate was oversized which is why I bought it to begin with. The measurements you gave made it appear that the switch plate was oversized, but either the wrong size was sent or the measurements are incorrect.
It’s not possible to get in touch with customer service ((the link you provide takes me to my email with no address for me to send it to.) So I’m out over $25 and stuck with a wall plate that doesn’t work. Thanks.

LOVE this style. Durable for placing on heavy use switch areas. I own two black cats and these were perfect as accent pieces in my living room. Received plenty of compliments and certainly will catch the eye of your guests. Also purchased the Black Heron style - living in a marsh area. Placed right under my backyard view windows to compliment my "real view" of herons too!! I would have loved to put these on ALL my outlets - but that would be overkill I think...but I love them THAT much!! I'm sure you will too!!
