The style and finish of these wall plates are amazing. They could use more clearance on the back for different brands of switches, and the decora cutout top-to-bottom dimension was a little long, leaving a gap on the top where none existed on the sides. Recommend cutting wider hole to allow for switch adjustment, especially on multiple gang plates, and for a consistent gap.
I did about half of my house with these plate covers.. however because of their cost I could only do so much at a time.. ok, the thing is now they are not available! I eventually switched to another company with a similar style
I know this is a natural slate, but I think I might but some type of sealant on it.
And of course the color isn’t exactly what is displayed, but it it adds interest to the wall which is what I was looking for. Good quality.
I have a vertical stripe running down the height of my 3 switch plate. I like irregularity but a stripe's not so irregular. I was going to order more but not if they 're going to look like that. Also, there were no screws included in my 2 switch plate. A small thing, but still considering the cost..
The switch plates I ordered were wonderful they were made of slate are very classy and I hope to replace everything in my home. Problem, I was offered a $10 coupon and was prompted that it would be sent to my phone with a code. That did not happen and was quite disappointing.
