The picture doesn't do this finish justice. It is awesome. I've received many compliments--people comment on how unusual it is. Close to big box store pricing but oh so much more.

This switchplate is beautiful! Ours is covering the outlet in the kitchen island, and it blends beautifully with the cabinetry. It also looks as nice as the beautiful wood -- a plastic cover would have cheapened the effect.

Recently installed Uba Tuba granite countertops and matching backsplash, so the tan outlet covers I had before were just unsightly next to it. Changing the outlets to black was a breeze, but didn't like the black switch plate selection at the local stores [...]. After an online search I found this site and was very happy with the selection ? as a matter of fact there were so many I was interested in I was torn regarding which to order! This is the perfect thing for my kitchen. I have black granite on the wall behind stove and counters. It just wasn’t cutting it to have beige wall outlet covers against the black. The satin black is shimmery and not a solid matte black. It makes all the difference for what used to be an annoying area. Also looks great against the pale pink paint in the rest of the kitchen.
