I ordered these to blend more seamlessly with the London Clay of our kitchen walls. I also highly recommend switching out the actual switches/outlets for brown as they're surprisingly cheap and go beautifully with this finish (although the white is honestly fine too).
My style is a little more eclectic so different rooms have different switch plates. These go beautifully with the darker Duck Green of our bedroom walls and London clay of our kitchen. I've actually had two or three people order these for themselves after seeing ours. It's a true oil rubbed bronze in my opinion, not too black or brown in tone.
