Description

Many processes are at work here by our artist to come up with an eclectic, somewhat rustic design. Liquid iron ages a metal switchplate and then it is embellished with mitered brass metal trim and 3 dimensional metal charm. It is then all aged again with a patina resulting in a one of a kind switchplate.

NOTE: Colors vary widely... different shades of green are prominent though grey, brown, and rust may appear. Each switchplate is unique in its own right since the antiquing process is unpredictable with respect to the color results. Sorry, we can not accept any color requests. The images shown here are samples only, and any item ordered may end up with a different finish...that we hope you love.

Screws: Coordinating screws are provided by artist.

Cleaning: Clean Butterfly switch plate covers with mild soap and warm water. Do Not use abrasive cleaner.

Medium: Distressed, oxidized, metal switchplate with metal embellishments.

Beyond awesome!

I was nervous about buying it, due to the price. But I love it! I have had it about 3 months now and I still smile everytime I look at it. It is simply so beautiful. And it does fit flush, is no thicker than the cheap ugly plastic switch plate it replaced. All in all, well worth the money. Words cannot describe how beautiful it is.

Love it!

Perfect design series for my newly remodeled home. Easy to install. They fit flush to the wall which is something that I require. I will look for more designs.

Subtle and Sharp Looking

We placed it on a cream yellow wall to match a nearby wall containing a mother and baby dragon near a castle... The green compliments wonderfully. The butterfly is very subtle, blends in with the cover.
